I hope that 2010 is a really good year for me, I’ve just lost a whole load of drafts for a few of my stories and I hope to be able to recover them when I go back to school. I also hope to finish my first real story and meet Cathy! I have just joined cadets though and I’ve made a load of new friends, mostly boys and of all different age ranges which is cool. I’ve become friends again with someone who I had a huge fall out with and I’ve changed to be a better person (I hope!. I have become closer to my friends this year and as I am no officially a teenager, the future looks ver bright for me and my friends. I hope that 2010 will bring lots of suprises for me! I’ve nearly finished my book.My new year resolution is to write my diary ( Cathy Cassidy’s dreams and doodles daybook) because i kept one in 2009 and i was awful at writing in it. I think i wrote about 6 days!I think 2010 will be best for me as i might be going to see Lady Gaga hopefully! Im really looking forward to going to high school in 2010, but will really miss my mini-me at primary school, Chloe. Happy New Year to everyone!

2009 was a great year for me. Two of my best bits was going to centerparcs with everyone in my family at christmas and making a new best friend that i will be freinds with forever. One of my resolutions is writing a great story that i will love and keep for the rest of my life. I am not celebrating new year this year but i hope we are next year. I hope 2010 will be good as 2009 wasn’t the best year for me. one o the reasons was that I was trying to decide if I should go to school or stay homeschooled! also me and my best friend didn’t seem that close in 2009 and that makes me sad cos I’ve known her for ever

but on the bright side I made heaps of good friends of all ages and don’t feel so much like a hermit any more.

Well Cathy, While you are surrounded by snow, here in Australia we are boiling, literally! It has come up to 40 degrees here! For New Years Eve i sat with my Mum, cousin and Auntie and watched the fireworks, while eating Malteser!! YUM !! In 2010 i will be in Yr 6 and will be a leader of my school! I am captain of my house!! The PURPLE house!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !!!!!

Hi cathy, I just wanted to say happy new year!! Your line about snow was not cheesy…just depressing, because it’s WAY to warm here this year. No snow. So technically by painting an image of the new year, you totally ruined the entire 2010 for me (just kidding!) 2009 was great. This year me and my friends have really gotten closer (best part) but one of them sort of forgot about us (worst part!), so we’re one down, but we’re still a great group and we have a lot of fun. ALSO , we’ve got some fantastic stuff planned for 2010, so next year when you’re talking about beginning 2011, I’ll definitely be saying that the year was great….have a great year!

I have a theory…. last year was really cold, wet and rainy on NYE so me and my friend predicted the year ahead would be bad, and we were right, it was probably my worst year ever…we said again this year because it was so hot that 2010 is gonna be the best ever!!!

the best part of o9 for me was basically having a laugh and being trusted more. i turned thirteen in march and my parents started giving me more freedom to do what i wanted.

the worst part for me was the raining summer (that sucked) and having to be more responsible at school cause we’re second year now (blah, blah, blah)

My worst part of 2009 is when my me and my BFF fell out and we still haven’t made up. The best part of 2009 was when i found out i was moving schools! (that’s good so now i can make new friends!) My new years resolution is to get a dog, (preferably a black lab,chocolate lab,yorkie,westie,springer spaniel,cocker spaniel)i’ve been nagging my dad for years but he doesn’t like dogs! it’s sooo annoying!

Hi Cathy ! My best memory of 2009 will have to be Camping with my friends in the freezing cold but we all laughed ourselves to tears !

My worst memory will have to be finding out about the Death of Louis Price from my school ( Rip Louie x )

Im rubbish at keeping resolutions so this year I wont bother and just go with what I feel is right.

2009 was great for me! I saw Lily Allen live which was incredible and I made a REALLY good friend who I met at High School! hi Cathy and everyone :DD to be frank, 2009 isn’t the best year after all. but there were alot of fun going on, only that i’m messing around with my education. worst of all, 2009 was the time where im having my O level. though i tried hard already, i still couldn’t get my mind cleared with all those things teens experienced as they grow up. ( i’ve been doing alot of texting and getting lazy with schoolwork!) well, its not that worst. i still scored As and Bs, and Cs in normal exams and tests, but it’s just that they weren’t that good. nw school has reopened, but im still waiting for my result. i really hoped i pass my exam with good grades.i still get another month of holiday, so im filling it with lots of exercise, diet, stay in touch with my best friends, and waiting nervously for my results. anyway, i hope i’ll enjoy this 2o1o with lots of new friends and gettin back in track with my education once i enter my new school. and i wish i’ll find a boyfriend that’ll lasts for more than a year! just like my best friends and their boyfriends. :DDDDDDDDD

Hi Cathy! I love your books! I think 2010 will be great too! My best bits of 2009 was: My birthday, My party; My and my friends went Swimming, and Christmas Day and Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. I don’t really have a worst bit of 2009- but i do have a funny/bad bit, I dont really know if i would call it funny or bad! It was bad at the time but its ok now!Anyway: I went sledgoing on Christmas Day, and there was this really steep icy track. My dad said to go sledging on that, but i said no and pushed the sledge away. I got onto the Sledge, and he pushed me ONTO the icy track. I want whizzing down the icy hill and when i got towards the bottom, i was going so fast, that i fell off the Sledge and landed on my face in the Icey Snow. Some Ice had cut my nose a bit and i Struggled to get up as i was in pain. I felt it hurt but i hadnt realized that my nose was bleeding until my Mum pointed it out. From Rebecca xx

My worst part of 2009 would have to be when I left my Primary school behind along with most of my good friends, because after the summer holidays I had to go to High School! The best part was also the same. I had mixed feelings on the day I left primary. I was sad to be going, but it was a really fun day, hangin’ out with my vmates for the very last time!

My best part of 2009 was christmas, it was the best christmas ever because I got all i wanted! The worst part of 2009 was on one day. ON that day i was playing with my freinds and one of my other friends tripped me over and then talked about it behind my back. My news years resolution is to get good grades in year 7 and get better at swimming. Happy new year!!! In my new secondary school I have made lots of new friends, it has been fun around here. But i keep getting ill, plus to add to that I hate brushing my teeth so I only brush them once a day. I have lots new year’s resolutions and some of them are to brush my teeth more often, try to prevent getting ill and tell less lies.

2009 was a bit sad because i had some family members die but this i think will be good as i start my tests for the future!

2010 is probably going to be the best year yet!!!! The best thing about 2009 was that i made the two bestest friends anybody could ask for Aoife,Tara … Aoife and I are huge fans of You’re books escpecially Scarlett… on the other hand Tara even with persussion wont read them =[ !!! shes missing out on everying myself and aoife’s new years resolution is to get Tara to read them!!!

The worst thing about 2009 was my friend who was my best friend for 8years decided to go off with all these really mean girls and i was left by myself for a good while!! But im happy now in secondary skool where i have loads of friends and 2best friends =]

The best bit of 2009 was meeting someone truly incredible, who became my best friend ((: No worst parts.. it was ALL amazing. And 2010 is gonna be even better – because I have already fallen in love.. with my truly incredible best friend ((: And for some unexplicable reason, he is in love with me too (((:

i loved 2009 but durr 2010 is going to be so much better and my crush just asked me out and i said yes!!!also ive maid loods of new friends weve made a little gang caled the checker gang (dont ask why).You probreblly wont reply but thats ok i now you get loads of emails i wanted to say that your books are awsome and so are all the people who read them .HAPPY NEW YEAR CATHY AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO READS HER BOOKS XXXXXX !!!

in 2009 we moved 3 hrs away from my old town! but it was really good cuz i made 7 new besties!!!!!!!!we made a group name called the elmo8!i also made heaps of other new friends! so a bad yr turned in 2 an awesum yr!!! one of my friends is a boy wev got 2 no each other really well he feels like my brother the other day him and my best friend started goin out it feels really weird lol it feels like shes goin out wit my brother!!
